Josh
Barbershop Manager
Josh has been a part of the FG Man team since June 2023. He joined us after being headhunted and completing his apprenticeship at a small barbershop in South Staffordshire, where he achieved distinctions in all his assessments and EPA.
With over four years of experience in the barbering industry, Josh has progressed quickly. He is skilled in a range of cuts, from fades to longer styles for gentlemen. Although he specializes in curly textured hair, Josh is proficient in working with all hair types and styles.
Josh’s expertise lies in mechanical clipper work, particularly skin and taper fades, which he complements with precise scissor work to create the desired look for each client. Additionally, his extensive retail knowledge ensures that clients receive excellent aftercare advice, whether they need Nioxin for hair growth or Slick Gorilla for the perfect style.
Maria
Senior Barber
Maria is our senior stylist, bringing over two decades of hairdressing and barbering experience to the team. She proudly carries her Italian heritage, which influences her unique style and techniques, adding a touch of Mediterranean flair to her work.
Highly skilled in non-surgical hair systems, Maria provides innovative solutions for clients seeking hair restoration without surgery. She has a deep passion for perms and colouring, creating vibrant and lasting styles that reflect her clients’ personalities and preferences. Her extensive industry experience, combined with her long tenure at our company, has honed her skills to a high level of expertise.
Maria has been an integral part of our team for many years, consistently demonstrating her commitment to excellence and her ability to adapt to the latest trends and techniques. Her warm personality and professional approach have earned her a loyal clientele who trust her to meet their diverse hairdressing needs. Maria’s dedication and talent make her an invaluable asset to our team, ensuring that every client leaves with a look they love and the confidence that comes with it.
Todd
Senior Barber
Todd brings years of hairdressing experience to his role as Senior Barber at FG MAN. Having started his career straight from school, he has continually refined his craft, working with leading brands and building his expertise across the country.
His dedication to precision cutting earned him a place among the UK’s top five in a national competition, reflecting the care and attention to detail he brings to every haircut.
Men’s hair has always been a passion for Todd, and joining FG MAN marks an exciting new chapter in his career. Combining his extensive cutting experience with a drive to keep developing, he looks forward to welcoming you to his chair.
Hughie
Barber
Hughie joined FG MAN as an apprentice in summer 2024. After initially studying engineering at college, he realised his passion lay elsewhere. Inspired by his mum’s career in hairdressing, he made the move into barbering and quickly found his feet.
His talent and dedication saw him achieve distinctions across all aspects of his apprenticeship at the beginning of 2026. From precise taper fades to longer mod cuts, Hughie combines confident clipper work with skilful scissor cutting to create styles tailored to each client.
Continuing to expand his skills, Hughie is developing his colouring and perming techniques, with these services coming soon to his menu.
Jack
Junior Barber
Jack brings a creative background to FG MAN, having spent several years working in the television and film industry before discovering his passion for barbering.
After completing barber training courses and gaining experience in barbershops, Jack wanted to take his skills further. He joined our apprenticeship programme at the beginning of 2026, bringing enthusiasm, determination and a commitment to developing his craft.
Since joining the team, Jack has made excellent progress and now runs a busy appointment column. He continues to build on his experience, refine his techniques and learn new skills, making him a valued member of FG MAN. Jack looks forward to welcoming you to his chair.
Will
Junior Barber (Apprentice)
Will joined FG MAN in September 2025, beginning his barbering journey straight from school. Since then, he has progressed quickly through our apprenticeship, showing commitment to developing his skills and building a future in the industry.
With a particular interest in taper fades and creative hair designs, Will enjoys the precision and creativity that barbering brings. He is now taking bookings and growing his client base, putting his training into practice with every appointment.
Working towards completing his apprenticeship at the end of 2026, Will is excited to continue developing his craft and welcoming new clients to his chair.
